Unless there is some unexpected extraordinary global news event that might substantially gap it’s stock down today the Amazon,com, Inc. (NasdaqGS: AMZN) shares should remain above the $1,665 strike sold call. Whatever you do, DO NOT let the stock price end the day above the sold call at the close of trading today; otherwise you will be automatically assigned by the broker over the weekend. Going into the last 15 minutes of trading (3:45 pm EST), if the AMZN stock is at $1660 or above, if you hadn’t already done so, it would be considered prudent to initiate an order to close out the original position (buy back or sell off all the call options contracts and roll the position out until the end of June as illustrated above.
